  1. There is no further support for the Old version, No security patches, updates or help from support technician in case of problem. I still continue to pay $$$ for support/updates every 6 months. I estimate I have spent $750 for this software. The recent hosting problems forced me to buy premium hosting costing 6 time the original amount. I dread to think how much the added web hosting costs are over the years. Then there was the matter of time spent by myself and volunteers over the years. Now any further complaints?

  4. # 6. David, I think it would have been 1965. # 8, Benjamin, I agree with you, there was a tremendous difference between school sports and district/county sports. I won everything at school, running, jumping and even throwing, but up against the best in the county it was a different matter! Hippogirl was good though .......well she said she was!!

  5. Once upon a time there were two little girls running their hearts out in the South Notts Schools Athletics Championships. They didn't know each other and went to different schools. 50 years later they met through Nottstalgia. Those two girls are on this photo.

  6. Yes you tell 'em Mick! I did find the old site a lot easier to use but we should all appreciate the price you've paid to keep hundreds of people amused and occupied. You are providing a great public service ....... I thoroughly enjoy logging onto Nottstalgia, reading and posting, even though I have a busy life away from it. I'm sure there are many Nottstalgians who rely on Nottstalgia for company. Long may it continue.

  9. All working for me as well, couldn't access anything yesterday though. This new update seems to have effected the ability for me to use the Tapatalk app from my phone to post, so unfortunately, I won't be posting as much which is a shame, but I'll pop back from time to time! Promise!

Our daughter has found exercise is a great mind helper, she visits the gym almost daily, not to bulk up but to strengthen her core muscles after a chronic back problem due to lifting a patient, she is a midwife, her outlook has improved so much with the extra physical activity. She still needs tablets to keep her serotonin levels up, but is way better than she was before. Depression is an a

I just took the pole from the teacher and ran down the runway concentrating on placing the end of the pole in the little trough at the end, like I'd been told. I got off the ground ok, I obviously dint clear the bar, which had been set at an optimistic 6'. However, we did get a point for entering. Come On Sherwood!!!

My wife had to be very careful waking me as I would lash out uncontrollably while still asleep. Then when awake there was the horrible feelings like a constant hangover, told my doc after a week and he took me off them straight away, worst drug ever ! Maybe I'm just sensitive to these drugs, don't know but now manage my depression with gentle exercise and keeping active. I still get low at times but feel I ca
