  1. Wandering along Skeg seafront this morning & spotted a new iPhone 11 on a seat. As honest as I am went looking for a PC but Mrs C spotted a woman who looked a bit upset & saying she had lost her new phone. She was soon reunited with her phone & me doing my good deed was the result I got today. Plus a hug.

  2. Police & crime commissioner Paddy Tipping employs an assistant to help him. The wife of Nottm north MP Alex Norris.(labour) This new job was not advertised. Just shows how the corrupt council work. This new part time position pays £60k pa. Corruption at it's best.

  3. Like Catfan said on this thread 5 years ago! Unfortunately the electorate of this once fine City can’t see what damage the Labour Council has done over the years, and they still get voted in. In our constituency we have that silly little new Labour MP Nadia Whittome, the ‘Baby of the House’ at 23 years of age. She has no experience of life and should never have been elected to serve our community but I know why she was .......where we live there are University Lecturers, school teachers, NHS Doctors and nurses and people who work for companies where there is a big Union influence.

  5. As it's quite a while since I went on a holiday abroad ,Toilets ?? if you want a 5* toilet then you need to visit Singapore, the toilet is a computer. It will lift the lid for you, flush automatically the the seat is washed dryed and before used again it will compleatly turn over, the toilet is about 7ftx6ft and at the side of you is a column about a foot in length and 1ft wide. On the column are about 12 buttons for you to press, 1 will wash you, when required. 2 will pass paper , (not news paper) that paper the the little doggy chase's other numbers carry on doing other things, and so on.

  6. Council tax payers in Nottingham deserve a full & open public inquiry how the council are losing money hand over first. This city has one of the highest council tax levels in the country. It can only get worse. All those lot do is blame central government for the Labour council mismanagement.

  10. Hi Phil, I have a couple of tablets (Android) one a 10" Acer using Android 5.1 and the other, a Samsung 8" running Android 9.1. That's all I can tell about them. I also have an Acer, Windows 10 pc that is used for photos printing etc. In reality, I only use my Doro phone for the occasional txt to folks I know don't have Internet access. Mostly use my little tablet for emails, shopping etc. Don't think I suffer Technophobia. Mind you, my missus would say I'd get withdrawal symptoms if I had no buttons to push. B.

  11. The whole set-up has an unpleasant odour about it. However I live in the Newark area and my MP is the equally suspect Robert Jenrick so it's not just Labour who are tainted.

  16. DJ I have just read about your problem with your wall whatever you do take photos before and after the work you do , without them knowing. I had the same type of situation years ago , they had different recollections of what it was like after I finished my work, his attitude changed after I showed him the photos.
