  1. Some people would call it freedom of choice, I would say it’s being slovenly. I look at people sometimes and wonder if they look in a mirror before they go out, particularly with hairdos. I have even seen women shopping in their pyjamas and dressing gown. my mother was a tailoress and always looked immaculate. Times have changed I know but I do think it’s gone too far.

I have Colour Grapheme Synaesthesia which, very basically, means that I see letters in colour and, also, words in colour. My sister also has it, to an extent, but not to the same degree that I do, apparently. As children, we were often chided for arguing about the colours of the days of the week instead of going to sleep at night. To me, Monday is brown. To my sister, it's a different colour. 6. From what I've seen of parish council meetings and personnel, they're a civil war looking for somewhere to happen. I've encountered some truly obnoxious people who are parish councillors.

  7. There’s a lot of contestants for that title here. Many sit on the parish council!

  8. Some people can carry off the casual look - but many can't. The problem is that those who can't are the majority who walk around like that. They think they look cool...but they don't.

  9. I can probably post it again in plain text. I just posted it 'as is' to show where it came from and that it was unedited. I'm interested in the definition of a 'rant'. Is it determined by length or some other parameter? Incidentally, I received a message from Jim (Brew) in connection with this. No need for details, but it was good to hear from him.
