Perry Road, Basford
annswabey replied to Ccraigie's topic in 'Mucky Ukna' Bull'el Baasford & Hyson Green
You can find out from the Electoral Rolls, held at Nottingham Local Studies Library. If you live in Nottingham, you can visit and look yourself. If not, they might have a look for you but would probably charge E-mail:Local_studies.library@nottinghamcity.gov.uk Local Studies Library Nottingham Central Library Angel Row Nottingham NG1 6HP Tel: 0115 915 2873 -

Why would you put up a score, running your own child down? My boys, both born in the 1990's are sometimes "wrong", but then, so am I.

I think perhaps the comment related to the use of the word itself

Posting about buses - who'd have thought it! There used to be a man on the bus home to Bilborough, so 56 or 60, from tahn on a Friday/ Saturday night in the mid-late 70's who would hammer out a tune on the back of the seat in front of him - so brilliant

West Bridgford Grammar School
annswabey replied to Stan's topic in All other Nottingham Schools Discussions
There's a group on Facebook called West Bridgford Grammar School 1968. Also on their page, is a photo from 1969. Too small to see, but the person who posted it offers to send a copy to anyone who wants it. However, his post WAS in 2010! He still seems to be on FB, though -
What a farce in the Portugal v Iran game tonight

Thought it might cost a lot, sadly. Do you know that they may have been in Derby? Suppose it depends how much you want to know - if the £70 is too much, perhaps going to look at it would be the best option. At least you should be able to rule it in or out, and with the little info you have on him, will be difficult to find out about him. How did you find out about the interview?

Let me know how you get on

Girl brains, Ian!

Hope so, but worried it might cost rather a lot! If you know any other tiny detail about him - road he lived in/school he went to/parents name/brothers and sisters/whether Pauline lived in Bilborough too, and if so, any info about her. You can send me a private message, if you don't want to put the details here

I lived in Bilborough from when I was born, until about 1982/3. Do you mean he was aged in his 50's or 60's at the time, or would he be that age now?. If you mean he'd be that age now, then he's a similar age to me (well, the early 60's bit!). I don't remember an Arthur around my age but a lot of people lived in Bilborough - depends which part he lived in On a quick search of the macearchive website, I found this, but it was in Derby http://www.macearchive.org/films/atv-today-21081981-sex-shop You can contact them to ask how to view it, if you think this could be t

What was your Dad's brothers name, when was he born approx, who did he marry and what were the names of the children? You can message me as might not be a good idea to post details here. Might well be possible to find them online and will be happy to advise
