    Pat Crowley and her sister Ann lived next door to us...think we moved in to number 63 in 1960/61 so would have been there when you were..I had an older sister Sylvia who was best friends with Sandra Talbot...also had a younger brother Andy...I left school in July 1964...would love to see any photos you have.

    Hi Radford Boy...no I wasnt a plumber but the lad next door was..Tony Bentley...he had younger brother and sister Michael and Susan..think you moved out not long after we moved in..I remember the Brodells...the Crowleys who lived next door..the Scales..Palethorpes..Wagstaffs...Talbots..Morleys..Blatherwickes..Pates..Jansons..Dudleys.

    Been listening to Radio Caroline on 648 not a bad signal picking it up on my old grundig radio plus its pretty good on my car radio but its just carrying the main Caroline internet service..the format is album tracks mainly rock so not really my thing..they do have a Caroline Flashback service which I prefer at least when they can be arsed to have a DJ on..continuous music without anyone speaking is boring..Roger Day does a good show at 4pm weekdays and Ron Brown also on Sunday at 10pm..sorry Caroline..53 years to get a licence..would have hoped for something a bit better and more entertaining!

    Hi Nigel...I remember you..used to go to Forest games with you and your old man..sometimes your Pete would come too...last time I remember seeing you was at Villa Park when Forest were away..must have been late 70's..hope you are keeping well mate.

    I remember Lindsey Dale who lived there..think she had a brother who's name was also Lindsey but spelt differently maybe Lynsey or could have been the other way round.

    I know where you lived now..I knew Josie and her ex Roy..her son is Daryl..I remember Josie moving in to your house but can't remember you or your mum and dad which is strange as I was only across the road!..Sandra Talbot was and still is a friend of my sister.

    Chris Morley was one of the first mods on the street to get a scooter but he broke his leg riding pillion on Dick Pates Lambretta when they had an accident...the Wagstaffs were Nigel, Pete and Robin...Pete and Robin went on to be DJ's on Radio Trent.

    The people who lived in our house before us were called the Monks..I remember the Blatherwicks the old man wouldn't let me have my football back if it landed near his roses..they had a daughter Linda.

    The Bentley family lived the other side of me Radford Boy..Mick, Tony and Susan..Tony was an apprentice plumber..don't know the Barks or Lesley Camm..other family names I do remember are the Scales, the Morleys the Wagstaffs, the Swinscoes, the Pates, the Evans, the Broddles, the Jansens, the Carrolls, the Mellors..erm think that's about it!

    Sold the Vespa Mick but hoping to get a new one this summer.

    Hi Radford Boy..I lived at 63 Vale Crescent South from 1961 to 70...Ann Crowley and her sister lived next door to me and John Dudley lived next door but one..knew Russ as well..he was in the police force for years.

    Thanks Mick & Beefy...no panal damage to my scoot the crash bars did their job and took the brunt of it,smashed my flyscreen and a few mirrors...still cost about £150.00 to put right..had to wear a sling for 3 weeks and was off work for those 3 weeks..then just light work for the next 4...been out for my first ride today and managed to stay on!!
