  1. Funny you should day that cause I always thought that pic was me! I used to run past the butcher's between cromwell st and Portland rd cause the 2 butcher's sons were after me. The haircut, school shoes and mertone trousers I got from Jeffs opposite are clearly visible. Shame we haven't got a clearer picture to prove beyond doubt.

  3. Hi, I do actually have the Douglas one's from my time there (79-82) but only 1 pic of my time at Cotto/Sandfield so it's them I'm really after... I climbed into the Cotto grounds in summer and took some ghostly-ass pics but it seems they're too big to upload here. Used to live on Kimbolton Ave ...
  4. 'sup? New to site (well registered before but never posted owt I don't think..) Just one of them days where you wonder whatever happened to this, that, him her.... Interested to see photos of the Nottingham of my childhood which was - 71-76 - Hyson Green 76-80 - Lenton 80-88 - Radford Went Douglas Junior and Cottesmore/Sandfield Secondary... Anyone else common to those areas at those times with photos? I've seen the Chris Richards Radford Gallery stuff (beautiful pics) and whatever else can be googled Would particularly love to see any 70s/80s pics of school or stuff like Tennyson

In the 80’s as kids we used to go through the tunnel leading from Carrington station to Victoria station and you could get out into the vc bit (where the multi stoery car park is) and climb up the side of the sandstone cliffs to the top. The carrington station bit was weird and scary, like a secret valley overgrown with trees (and i’m sure caves?) and full of needles and old porno mags and glue bags etc. Anyway, half way between Carrington station and Victoria station there was a tunnel leading off to the Mansfield road graveyard.
