However I will tell you about the greatest event I ever witnessed. In 1958/9 at the height of the cold war I saw on several occasions both squadrons of Vulcan`s scramble one after the other (617 first.) To see one vulcan take off is awe inspiring but to see the whole 2 squadrons take off IN PAIRS was the most inspiring event I had witnessed of these aircraft. The noise was thunderous. You do not realise how momentous these events are,at the time.

My old man was a County supporter,so only saw Forest twice,and the 2nd time was for free(best seats in the house!). Gas is our biggest cost! We have the same company for gas and power. A few years ago we invested in a solar system for hot water. We invested in solar panels also for power.The price of the panels have come down markedly in recent years. Result the power company pay us and this more than covers the gas bill. Ask Dave to organise more sunshine in UK.

How fortunate are we in Australia that we will have a poll to remove the British Monarchy so to avoid Charles (as with much of the Commonwealth.)

Firstly, Australia will have another referendum before Charles becomes king. It was only clever wording that avoided abolition of the monarchy last time. Charles is greatly disliked over here. Charles will be head of the Church of England as king. That woman Camilla was married before, so the situation is similar to Edward, and with a strong prime minister ,Charles could be advised to abdicate in favour of his son. Of more interest would have been the situation if William died before Charles.
