I came across a till receipt today from Charles Town, Radio and Electrical, Carrington Street, Nottingham - Phone: 4(?)55489. The Year is indistinct but it was 6th May and I spent 19/6 - I was a student in the late 60s and dabbled in valves etc! I remember he had a valve tester on the counter you could plug your old valve into. It's good to hear your memories!
