  1. DJ 360 I don't drink larger well not the crap English stuff. Tetley is not real Tetley any more(not brewed in Leeds And there are better stouts about than Guinness When I'm on about beer prices I don't mind paying £4 (& I have this week) for a good pint Paid £3 for a half earlier this year however it was 10%

  4. The dispensery(castle Rock) is in the old Boots building on Arkwright Street near to what was the Town Arms BeerHeadz is on the railway station on the corner of Carrington Street/Queens Road(Micro Pub)
  5. Three pints yesterday in The Dispensary & BeerHedz the best part of £11 But I will say the beer I had was of the best quality & I really enjoyed them P.S. I have never learnt to drive so drink driving is not an issue for me

  7. I sometime pay more for a pint than I used to go out all week on(4 or 5 pints at 1/10d pint a night) OK! i was only on £15 a week then
  8. Mind you folks beer in most pubs is a little pricey these days the cheapest I've had recently £3.10 in the Brickyard Carlton Hill (Lincoln Green)
  9. I found the Malt Cross quite expensive even for the city centre
  10. That was the main problem with the Meadows it was built on a flood plain With flood relief programs this is now not a problem

  12. The area where the Manvers Street bus depot was built was a slum area it contained four pubs
  13. I suggest the photograph dated 1917 is a little later at around 1930 when demolition of the area had commenced.

  17. I have had younger people (usually a good looking woman ) give up their seat on the tram at least four times since I moved to Nottingham last year & I'm only 69( but having a walking stick does help )
