  1. Hi, I have been away for a while. Emigrated (or was I transported) to the Antipodes 46 years ago. After my old Pentium 2 crashed beyond comprehension I lost all and forgot I was having a great conversation with a gal from Clarence street or terrace near where I lived before getting married. Storer Street boys we were known as and had ritual like soccer games with our sworn enemies at Dakin ? Street on Carlton Road. I attended Hogarth primary school (now a Mosque, Allah be praised) and was imprisoned at Manvers Secondary Bi-Lateral on Carlton Road (Now closed I think) I cannot remember the
  2. I worked at the Nottingham Scientific Exchange in the 60s..I managed the Photo shop and worked in the hardware and tools section. It was owned by the Ingle family. I moved to Australia after leaving their employment and I guess the Ingle's are long gone.
  3. I forgot to add tht my recollections of Pipewood are a mix of pleasure and pain..especially the torturous spud picking
  4. I also attended a school camp at Pipewood in the 50s. I am 66 now and attended Manvers Bi-lateral on Carlton Road. I now live in Victoria Australia and ken to find a few of my old school mates... I will be watching this space.
