  1. I did think that at first. I'm sure he knows where he means. Either way we'll get parked and get to the fair... For goose fair food!! Yay
  2. We're going by car. But he's saying that you can park in the park and ride which is meant to be closer than the Asda? Oh I don't know these places. Take me out of netherfield/carlton/gedling and I'm lost!
  3. Would the Asda mentioned be the 'park and ride' site? I thought it was Asda... My partner things it's the park and ride.
  4. For those who have been to goose fair lately, did any of you cach any of the prices for childrens things? (merry go rounds, hook a duck etc) We're going for deffinate tomorrow, cant wait. Doughnuts, candy floss, pea's... All with our names on! Get in my belly!
  5. Minus the herbs.. but some caramelized onions don't go a miss!
  6. No one on the thread a fan of cheese scons then? lovely with a spreading of butter!
  7. Typical! Apparently we were due heavy rain all day today. So we cancelled our plans to go to the fair deciding to go early on Saturday.. Woken up, checked met office again and oh, no rain!! But at least the toddler and man child got a lay in. They haven't slept past 7am in I don't know how long!
  8. Oh ans about living long enough... You may be suprised to know they can live upto 15 years! My nephew and nieces rabbit popped its clogs at the age of 13... And they didn't expect them to live so long. Enjoy LOL
  9. Its to do with the different food needs. Guineapigs don't produce their own vit c (i think, or d?) And even with a small rabbit kept with a piggy, one accidental kick can break the poor things ribs. Iv seen the damage all too much when my friend gets piggys that have been kept even with the small breeds of rabbit. It really isn't worth the risk. That's not bad either for the food. Iv been getting 15kg sacks for 10/15quid depending on the pricing the guy does I get it from. Im sure your bunny will have a fab home. Love rabbits but unfortunately I have too many pets already to have one!
  10. Beef, do you live in notts? Because I buy my sawdust in bulk. HUGE square block of the stuff, at least 3ft in height.. I change my guineapigs every two days, had the sawdust say... 3 months and I'm not even a quarter of the way through it. It only cost me £8! I buy the food in bulk too. I posted about the place I got them on the bargains thread. If you get a piggy for your son, please remember not to house it with the rabbit. And rescue one, a friend of mine runs a rescue (again, I posted s thread about it) and it'd be wonderful to give a pair a second chance. They live a lot better in pairs
  11. For those wanting to go out to eat, the Toby carveries are doing a free 'upgrade' on their dinners - double meat, another yorkie pud + two sausages. Or 2 courses for £6.50 using their vouchers. Which can be downloaded onto a phone if you don't have a printer and the code presented to the waiter/waitress who should give you a little slip to fill in. Me and a friend are taking advantage of the upgrade tomorrow for lunch, can't wait! & it's only £5.99
  12. Our traditional goose fair dinner! Every year when goose fair is in town I make us hot dogs, mushie peas, chips and corn on the cob.
  13. Oooh, Iv never had a cheese steak but the big beef melt is nice! Have you tried the mango chicken sub yet? Subway really does employ some thickos sometimes!

No, wasn't that one. But now I want to watch it!

    films!

I watched a Christmas film last year that left me in tears last year. Can't remember what it was called though... Could of been the one you suggested.
  16. Me and my partner are quite a fan of subway. But the Arnold branch is awful. Ignorant staff who barely talk to you. Stingey with the fillings isn't the word! I asked for abit extra once and they said it'd be for an extra charge! Had the same service both times we've been. Now we go to the colwick branch or netherfield where the service is good, you get what you want for no extra cost. Apart from the netherfield branch charge extra for a hot drink and colwick include it in the deal for a sub and a drink. If you don't have people skills, don't work with people. It's that simple.

    films!

I love romantic films. My partner refuses to be in the room/house when I watch a romantic film or one of my favourite tear jerkers. My sad film favourites are... My sisters keeper. Beaches. Marley and me. Ps I love you. I'm not sure what it is, but having a good cry (even when I don't feel sad before) cheers me up a little. Must be a girly thing!
  18. Or when your bunged up with cold or flu... You could try mine and my step dads remedy! Not for the faint hearted. 2x lemon lemsips. + 1 lemon locket (throat sweet) It'll 'blow ya head off' but it soon clears the sinuses and helps you feel better!
  19. A playgroup I used to go to thought I was too harsh on my daughter. Now I wasn't cruel, but I couldn't stand toddlers who didn't say thank you, eat with their mouths open and licked snit from their running noses while their mother's did nothing. If my daughter didn't say thank you to someone, I wouldn't let her walk off till she said it, I held her hand and asked nicely for her to say it untill she did. Now at the age of 2, I get compliments from others aboutwhat a polite child she is. I don't have to remind her to say thank you or please, she covers her mouth when she coughs, asks for a tis
  20. For those who buy in bulk and have facebook, search for a group called 'bargain brands' ran by a couple who sell all sorts if bulk items. Iv recently bought 3x sacks of guineapig food he was trying to get rid of for 10er and pets at home sell them for a 10er each! They do 10k bags of persil soap powder. And as I can't use that Iv ordered a 5ltr bottle of clothing conditioner. Thanks to them I can buy in bulk, cheaply and save money. They deliver to all over notts and surrounding area's and deffinately worth checking out!
  21. There is the original password on the box. But that's been changed. And the only way they'll get it is by askingus what it is.
  22. My wifi is password protected... They don't have the password
  23. I tried that, the person laughed and told me to stop being so silly. They sit on social media and youtube. Iv been told I'm too wrapped up in my house being my 'palace' and I need to ditch my thoughts on how people should 'behave' in another persons house. Growing up, I was taught to call our elders mrs, miss or Mr whatever. We had a couple of elderly neighbors and I always refered to them as mrs and mr. People comment on how well mannered my two year old is, she says her pleases and thank you's and if she doesn't I quickly remind her. And she knows to cover he mouth when she coughs. Man

    films!

I found sinister not all that scary too. The only thing that got me was paranormal activity 2 and more so with 3. But 4 completely ruined it and 1 was boring.
  25. When I enter someone's house for the first time I always ask if they'd like me to take them off.
