  1. Trying to download some pictures of a bunch of mod girls dancing back in '65 at the Mojo Club in Sheffield. For someone reason it isn't as easy as it used to be.

  3. I remember the King Mojo Club in Sheffield in 65. In fact, in the new book "Mods" on pages 208-9 there is a fantastic photo spread of a bunch of Mod girls in pencil skirts which they wore back in 65 not mini skiirts. Obviously, on this site, a lot of wannabe's who weren't even on the scene back then. Other great clubs down South were the Flamingo. Remember going there with Jacko. Twisted Wheel in Manchester was another popular club. On one run there in November 64, got snowed in at Buxton with the scooters and Wally's minivan.   5. I note with keen interest that Bulwell will be having a festival the first two weeks of July including the showing of past and present photos of Bulwell in the library. Look forward to attending this as Paul Turton has some fantastic older photographs of the area which he will be showing. Also ties in with the Cleethorpes scooter rally, in which some of the old boys (now 49-50 years ago) who made the scooter run to the great GT Yarmouth on the bank holidays back in the mid 60's.   10. One of the best railway events this year had to be "Mallard 75" at the York Rail Museum when 6 A4 were on show.I heard that Mallard was also on show at Grantham in September.

A weeks ago when crossing the New Bay bridge in San Francisco had been lined up for about 40mins approaching the toll booths.Needing the cash only ones a lot of drivers got into the automated lane by mistake because of poorly marked lanes and the over head digital board continually changing anyway a lady in this green Citroen DS19 wouldn't let anybody in to the cash lane that she was in,couldn't believe it she was waving a fist and shaking her head the silver Chev l let in along with other vehicles.l doubt anyone using the Bay bridge on a regular basis will ever forget the green Citroen..

When Walmart first move to Southern Ontario all the Store's had Self Checkout.Now the new Super Walmart's do not have Self Checkout.I asked a friend that works in an older store why was this?He said the highest theft rate was at the self checkouts some store managers like the self checkout because it keeps their employee numbers down therefore they get a bigger bonus.
