Just tell them to turn their phone off when they come to see you, and explain that you consider it bad manners for a visitor to be on the phone all the time, different if they need to answer the damn thing but not to make calls in your house, or worse, play bloody games on the thing. TRICKYMICKY, If I remember correctly Cooper and Ago exchanged the lead on nearly every lap with Cooper getting the final lap, Hailwood and Rod Gould pulled out about halfway through the race on their Yamaha's, Barry Sheen also pulled out with fuel problems, I was in the pits with Mike Hailwood and Rodney Gould at the time and Mike was stood on top of their van watching the race, each time Cooper took the lead Mike would jump up and down with excitement until at the end of the race the van roof had all but collapsed, I think the event was "Race of the year" or was it the "post TT"?   8. Just splash out and get new tyres and tubes all round, you could always try TRIKE riding, three wheels so you can't fall off, no need for a helmet, drum brakes so not affected by the rain and that low down the wind don't get you, happy cycling Rog

  12. You only get tubeless tyres on racing bikes, can I suggest you get a new set of tyres and tubes for each bike,only a few quid from Halfords,they're not far from you Mick, if you struggling to fit them nip them over to me or I'll come to yours,let me know Rog

I seem to remember a staged train crash on the line near Tollerton sometime in the 80's something to do with how radio waste storage containers would stand upto a head on crash, I believe the loco's were two class 45's or 40's, I also seem to remember the prototype tilting train being engine/turbine tested on the same line Rog
