I see a lot of these running lights turn off when the indicator light comes on, only the side that the indicator light shows so that could ease the problem, have the germans cured the indicator light problem on their cars now? you know where the indicators only come on two feet from the junction they are going to turn into instead of the recommended fifty meters, just asking Rog

  12. Dry shed, carpeted floor, magneto wrapped in an old towel, the telly, VCR and DVD player all good in fact I was watching a dvd about railways in there in the week, very cosy Rog

Fitted the magneto back on the Lister D today, I always take it off and store it in my shed over winter to stop the damp getting into it, anyway all went well, all lubrication points oiled, water tank filled and some petrol put in the tank, two turns of the starting handle and away it went, sounded great and never missed a beat, I ran it till the water in the tank started steaming which took about fifteen minutes then I shut it down, I will drain the water off when it cools down in cast there's a risk of frost, next week I'll start the Lister ST1 diesel and give that a good run

Nice cycle ride this morning, not too bad riding out towards Aubourn and Haddington but hard work coming back against the strong wind, good exercise though gets the heart pumping and the lungs working, after getting home and having a coffee I decided to go out on the bike again this time to Bassingham where I take the R10 for a walk around the farmyard and barns, three pigeons dispatched, met up with the farmer on my way back and spent the next half hour putting the world to right and discussing all things farming, all in all not a bad day and some health benefit exercises thrown in for good m

Not much interested in fishing gravel pits I just want to fish the upper Witham near to home because it reminds me of the Fairham brook I used to fish as a kid not very deep and only about fifteen feet wide, there are ex gravel pits near me and I was part of the management team there when they was working gravel pits but at forty quid a day ticket I don't think I'll bother Rog
  18. The river is still high carrying about three feet of extra water but it is going down, could be back up again after todays rain, don't hold out much hope for a fishing trip to the river any time soon and the season ends this Thursday, ah well theres always next season, roll on June 16th Rog
