  3. Whilst doing some family history research we came across a relative on the 1911 census living at 4a Albert St Bulwell,does anyone know of this street or have access to any old maps of Bulwell as I cannot find it on present day maps Cheers

    Hi CliffTon and mgread Regarding the Varney Rd shops area some of my friends lived near there,the Revell sisters Gail and Margaret,Pauline Stansfield and Betty Markham a few names you might know
  9. The first youth club on Farnborough Road Clifton was originally a large wooden building used as a Co-op shop and when the large shop was built they donated the shed to be used as a youth club about 1957/58

Hi Ladyinred !891 Living in Bulwell,Thomas a schoolteacher and Emma a Board School Governor 2 children neville aged 2 and Leonard 2 months 1901 Living in Bulwell still a teacher 2 children Richard theodore aged 2 and Edward aged 1 so Neville and Leonard must have died 1911 Living at Forestdene bulwell 2 children Richard T and Edward Assistant School Teacher and employed by Nottingham Educaion Commitee
