You will find that grey cross on most posts that the authors have a 'signature' displayed ie Chulla has "You can sometimes never tell what's least expected most." Left click with your cursor on the grey cross and it will give you the choice as to ignore the individual's signature or, all such signatures. I say most signatures because some posters eg katyjay has a signature but no grey cross and the same for mick2me. No idea what the overall purpose is though..... -

You are lucky with the garbage service, Oztalgian. Here in Tasmania where we live, two bins (general and recyclable) COLLECTED EVERY FORTNIGHT!! Shirts have always been packed like that - ever since I was a kid anyway. Plastic blister packs are responsible for a high percentage of persons of all ages attending hospital casualty sections across the country, for treatment of deep cuts and wounds to the fingers and hands

#46 & #47...........Memories of a time long ago.............................. I used to regularly load out of Kaiser Stuhl for Melbourne in the early 70s. A favourite trick of the truckies was to break a bottle in a box while loading, show the forklift driver the leaking box and then put the box to one side as you continued loading. The forkie would bring out a replacement box and the damaged one would be forgotten......5 bottles for home. Also, after loading, you could go to the cellar door and sample the wares. Many a semi loaded with wines came to grief on the road to Melbourne a

I remember, poohbear, same shape but blue in colour. We had one at the Kennels at ROT - got rid of weeds, fenceline growth, almost anything when going full pressure...

Oztalgian...re #40. Blue Nun wasn't a bad drop of white when it was icy cold. Remember the 'Cold Duck' red wine and the 'Sangria'?
