  2. We used to visit my mother in law and she still had Black n White TV we did ask how she knew which the colours balls were she just said well I can tell which they are.

When we lived in South Africa 70s a friend of mine told me to get my son into the convent school, as at the time there was an apartheid the other choice was what was called an African's medium school, but every morning the students would have to stand up and salute the SA flag. Now the convent was just like a British private school, so we applied and with my friends references he attended the Convent.   7. Tell me doe's the Hair stylist / Barber charge for what he takes off or what he leaves on ?? Pricing a salon visit is a very sore point in my books. There is such a lot to learn about styling and cutting, You dare not give just anyone scissors and say just " "cut that mans Hair" it has took us years to get out trade recognized as a trade, we were always paid peanuts and yet the knowledge we had after finishing out apprenticeship was just the same as an electrician-plumber ect.   8. WELL what a day !!! Sunday Jumped out of my bed in my normal way, then into shower now having Parkinson's mobilty not as good as it used to be. We brought a bed from JL ages ago and it had a beautiful wood frame, BUT the legs were in a J shape. Many many times master and have caught out little piggies on these legs.   13. My mum and dad met at the Palais mum was 28 when she married and my dad was 26. They married in 1935 and in 1995 it as there Golden Wedding.   19. Brew just read your post it's funny out some people don't like jeans? When green bowling in summers gone by if ever you went into a Nott's comp you had to wear all white, well at the time i could not get to the bowls shop to buy any ladies white trousers having a pair of white jeans i put these on, Fine? till I was playing on the green, then one of the ladies from the team complained.   22. Up-date well sorry to Jehovah Witness people but I have not been converted. Service all about the person who has passed away, you kept been told that you are asleep on the trip and Jehovah will always be there to help you, and look after you, Then you pray.   24. The Fox and Grapes is very well know to me as my father in law would quite often go in for a pint. Mellissa First it was called The Fox and Grapes then changed to "PEGGERS" then went back to The Fox and Grapes. People would say it was called "Pretty Windows" because of the leaded windows.
