    My Nan lived on Muskham St. From the 70's I remember on Arkwright St.the record shop,the toy shop, the Army surplus store on one side, on the other side there was a newsagent, a hippy book shop, the Viking cafe and of course the New Bridge Inn where I had several of my very first pints.

    Spent many a night at Sandpipers, so many bands I can't remember them all. Went to a lot of early punk gigs with sketchleyman the dj, now living in the USA I believe

    Probably no one still reading this but I hung about there back in the day. Playhouse, Sal, Sandpipers as well.I remember a few of those names. Mad Rick is no longer alive I heard.I saw Coop not long ago at Meadow Lane.
