The Musters was a nice place years ago, i remember the talent shows on Sunday lunch and the resident singer Peter Lee.

I remember a chap called Tom Carr who used to run a club, i think it was the 31 club. He used to organise the rallies and i remember going to the Goose fair rally early seventies.

Ladies hairdressers called Curl up and dye. On the theme of pubs closing down "Nobody Inn". Sandwich shop "On a roll".

I've seen some good names for Companies, one i saw the other day was an ironing service called Iron Maidens. Bodget and Scarper the builders is still my favourite.

I went in the Dog and Partridge on Parliament St last Friday, John Smiths smooth was £1.75 a pint. In my local it's £2.45.

I used to live at Calverton and went for bike rides along Beanford lane to ride through the water ford. Not a busy road at all.

What was the name of the pub that was on Northgate just along from the Star? It could have been demolished about 1970. -
I remember seeing the vehicle, a Ford Focus with a weird grey box on the roof. It was sometime between July and November last year, thats when i had that van.
