  1. There is a bin lorry driver at Broxtowe Council that used to be an Ice road trucker and also a motorcycle stunt rider, she is also female, one of 2 female bin lorry drivers.

  8. A friend of mine had an older brother who lived at 125 Dunstan Street just round the corner from Asper Street. In the late sixties we used to go to his house, I can remember the chip shop on the corner with all the fittings, but can't remember it being open.

  15. DIL is staying for a few days so last night we watched Love Island, the biggest load of tripe I have ever watched.
  16. Went to the Castle yesterday, the Paul Smith exhibition was closed, it was not worth the entrance fee. The kids hideout was good for under 10s, apart from that it was disappointing.

  21. A vet prescribed some tablets for my dog, they were £45. When I looked on line the same tablets were £12, but you needed a prescription, funnily enough the vet wouldn't give me one.
