Mmmm, was it called Mario's. Not the same sort of club though. For anyone too young to remember, the men outnumbered the women by quite a few.

Automated phones, especially British Gas. You have to dial an 0845 number and then enter 2 different numbers, your account number, inside leg measurement and post code before you can even talk to a human being.

There is a Gill Street just off Mansfield Road near the city. Close by used to be Peel Street hospital which was a large maternity Hospital. Could this be the one? The houses have been demolished on there now but i seem to remember them being large semi detached.

Hi Russ. NCT bought out South Notts. Bartons had finance problems and joined forces with Trent to make Trent Barton. Bellamys are a local coach company and have just started running 2 old Routemasters on the Arnold Route. I worked for NCT from 1979 until 1995.

The field is at the junction of Valley road/ Hucknall road. A mate of mine used to have a minature steam train on there. they used to rent the land from the Council but were never allowed to charge for rides. It must be about 15 years since they had trains on there. I take my dog on there now, If you drive past and see a bloke with a white German Shephard dog on that field it could be me.
