This is not my pain but my daughters, a childs pain is a mothers. Her leg was amputated above the knee last December 21st due to a long time knee problem, We were at the limb center today and they told her that as she didn't want a prosthetic fitted she was not entitled to any further help, nor is she entitled to a compression sock which is needed to shrink her limb. I made my feeling clear that it is her choice at this time not to have a prosthetic maybe at a later date, fine they said come back then and she will get help. We are going to Goth weekend in Whitby near the end of April then onto Nottingham to visit relatives. THEN going to Skegness hubby says he doesn't know what I am expecting so i will keep an open mind.
