Does any one remember Pete Woodhouse, went around with Stu Morris and Mondo at the Dungeon..He lives up the road from me, and asked me to post this.

Hi My grandmother was born in 1911.. she never lived with this man and would not disclose his name.. he didn't want to get involved when she got pregnant because of family pressures or maybe status.. don't know.. any ideas ....

Thanks to you all for your responses... The reason I ask is I am trying to trace my mum's father who she never knew, only that she went with her mum to the Guildhall to collect child maintenance when she was little.. this was back in the 1930's.. she doesn't even know his name so I know I am clutching at straws..but she's 84 and it's such a shame. She knows he worked for the Nottingham Evening Post but that's all. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Thanks again

Hi to you all. Am new to all this. Am trying to find out about the Old Guildhall in Nottingham apart from it being a court. Does anyone know what other departments were run from there in the 1930's. Any ideas welcome. Thanks
