I would say yes Jill........Syd and Babbs go out most of the night and i know they have animal friends........would like to think an Hedghog or two are among them.......i put food scraps out every night and its always gone the next morning....more than likely Foxes...but who knows perhaps an 'Harold or two...........

Need a new black suit.........old one about had it........usually go in town and have a good look round some decent Tailors.......however don't wear a suit very often and sadly when i do it must be black........ So thought i'd go into Bulwell Matalan and get one not costing a fortune........after looking at all their stock decided ''Get back into town''...... Had to take a job in Summer Wages £12 per week Shirts numbered one to Eleven... Goalie taking 3 steps then belting it down pitch Full-backs not wing backs Half backs......and inside forwards Sliding Tackles All standing on the Terraces Shoulder charges Tackles from behind British Players..even Manager who could speak English... Flat Caps and smell of smoke... Half

Just had my almost daily bike ride.........normally only about a mile...but today think i doubled it......its all part of my attempting to get back to a degree of fitness.....after my illness and hospitalisation last year....... At that time i also lost a lot of weight..........i was down to nine and a half stone.....after always being for many years between 12 and thirteen.........even my 'Bobby Moores'' had gone thin.........Anyway decided to weigh myself this morning ..kept putting it off didn't want to be disappointed.......felt i had gained some weight.....but not as muc

  14. Just realised 'Floss' was with me longer than my first two wives combined..........

Loved my Floss.........she was a Spaniel (mostly).......and one of a litter of my Grandads dog 'Fluff''........i remember picking her out of the litter in Grandma's kitchen.......we took her everywhere with us as kids......Bulwell Common...Vernon Park when i went fishing......even to Cleethorpes with me and Trina in my Ford Thames van......... I was still living at home the night she died 67 or 68..........she was ill and i wrapped her in a blanket in front of the Coal fire...every time i tried to go to bed she looked at me and gave a little Howl........so i slept near here on the settee.
  16. I had a lovely faithful Dog from when i was 7 to i think i was 22.... IVE just noticed in my 1957 Diary that 'Floss'' had her birthday today in 1952..14/8/52......she followed me everywhere in my schooldays......even sat outside my school classroom on occasions.. Anyway she would have been 69 today.........lol
  17. Summer holiday time......went to see this film with Sandra at the Elite..........sang and danced all the way home.......the late lovely Una looks good...... Don't think going away on holiday anytime soon.........just been Quoted £600 for a week in a Caravan in Skeggy.....''HONEST'' And abroad with its ever changing rules is a definate NO........
