  7. Totally agree with you Chulla, I always think that poems should rhyme. Rhyming takes more thought, creativity and time to write.

  9. Hi Margie,, No I'm not a rapper by any means. Glad you like it. I wrote it some years ago for a nurse I used to talk to everyday on the bus. Here's another about nurses I wrote..   11. There is a book titled "Battle Of The Flames (Nottinghamshire's fight for survival in WW11) by David Needham, published by Horizon Press. Included in it are details of the bombing, lots of photographs and a list of fatal casualties. I have had the book for a number of years.

  18. There's a programme on BBC4 tomorrow night (Monday April 3rd) at 9pm called "Roof Racks & Hatchbacks; The Family Car" about family cars from the Morris Minor to the Ford Cortina. I'm sure for many of us it will evoke memories of our younger years.

  22. On Wednesday March 15th at 9pm BBC4 have a programme called "Pedalling Dreams : the Raleigh Story". It is rare archive film telling the story of the company.
