I had a Betamax Video Recorder and thought the quality was better than VHS

There's a new 3 part T.V. programme called "That's So Last Century" starts on Tuesday 8th December on Channel 4 at 10pm. The programme is about Gadgets and includes huge mobile phones, VHS Recorders, Walkmans and the Spectrum computer. It sounds as though it might be interesting looking back and worth a watch

In the book it states:- “Further N on Mansfield Road, E side, Neales occupies a roller-skating rink by Barnes, Booth & Richardson, 1930.” The book is Pevsner Architectural Guide - Nottingham

I was reading a book about architecture in Nottingham. On one of the walks it mentions the Neale’s auctioneers (now closed) on Mansfield Road and states the building used to house a roller skating rink by Barnes, Booth & Richardson 1930. I was quite surprised to read this and wondered if anyone knows any details about it?

I can appreciate it must have been scaring to both of you but pleased things have been sorted out.
