I do like the look of this squad with a few exceptions. Personally I would have taken John Terry but not Chris Smalling, Phil Jones or James Milner.

Just found this thread. I went to Peveril from from 1960 - 1964 and others I can remember were Carol Wade, Pat Whincup, Christine Ward, Janet Ward, The Duffy twins Maureen & Margaret, Lorraine Coats, Christine Scott, Malcom Jarvis, Johnny Manners, Andrew Bridges, Kenny Bull, Phillip Dobson, Sue Kinton, John Evans, Lee Evans.
Also in my year but not my class was Sue Pollard
Teachers I can remember were Mr Ward ( Headmaster ) Queenie Lee ( Headmistress) Mr Pratt, Mr Wragg Mr Fletchem, Mr Cole, Mr Pugh Bernard ? ( R.I. ) Mr Skillbeck,

I think they have bought Sandie Shaw out of retirement..... Still a looker and still got the voice too !

Jaguar at Stapleford due for demolition.
The memories I have of going to the Jaguar are with my ex Father In Law Bill Matthews aka " The Cheeseman" anybody on here remember him? He used to pull up in the car park open up his car boot and the next thing they came out the pub and descended on his car like a plague of locust

I heard it used in the 60's along with faitin and Scraitin ( fighting and crying I believe ) correct me if I'm wrong and that was Ilkeston / Eastwood area.
