  7. Going back to Stans last post regarding me my mum and David Williams. I’m not quite sure how far to take you back; I will turn the clock back to before the St johns church was built, the happy times I spent in a draffy scout hut praying on a Sunday evening with my mum and dad in attendance and me nodding off while listening to Mr Williams sermons. My mum would baby sit for Mr Williams, she would take me with her, he wouldn’t be late and I would be tucked up in bed by eleven, we walked it there and back, I too like Stan lived in Thaxted close Bilborough and not like Stan went to that great Te
  8. To tell you the truth I don’t at the moment have any inclination to read. The last books I did read were the Harry Potter books, read the first four then lost interest. I think and don’t quote me on this I read the Tolken books before that, Lord of the Rings trilogy but that was yonks ago. As I have said before I don’t read the red tops because I have no interest in knowing about who is splitting with whom and who is sleeping with whom nor do I want to know, I find the articles in those have to taken with a pinch of salt, so what’s the point, if I want to read fiction I would go to the libra

  13. Family outing are fine but if the point of the outing is to satisfy one member’s interests then it doesn’t work. Just imagine how keen the kids would have been if they knew they were off to see Mickey Mouse or the wife would have been if she knew it was a cloths shopping spree at your expense, I reckon they would have been in the car before you had tied your laces on your doc martins…. Word of advice…next time don’t tell them your going somewhere just go… I do except payment but make the cheque out for cash….. Bip.
  14. Sounds to me then that we can blame the councils for the decline in interest of our local markets by the public, if there rates were scaled down to compensate for this financial crisis we find ourselves in, the traders might be encouraged to set up shop once again but as it is now the councils see that the big supermarket chains like Tesco are more profitable [massive rates bill] than to have a small market trader eking out an existence for himself. And in the same vain you could blame the councils too for the closer of many local pubs and shops, if the multinationals weren’t allowed to set up

  24. I forget what floor or where this corridor goes to but there is definitely when I worked there a Roughs Gallery. Maybe worth asking a few questions to where this corridor is.. Or I could come over to the factory as your guest one shift..? Thinking about it now the door to that Corridor could be at the beginning of the Corridor to the Surgery where the doctors reception is . Bip.
