Hello it's me - I'm back......

You was there before me, but I can remember a David Harrison...…..

I went there 1958/61 when it closed down, was very unhappy there, I was Lynn Housley from Hucknall.....I have the school song, thanks to Sonia Dimmock who found it for me...……..'Beside her wheel, the patient spinner lingers - Holds in her hands the shuttle and the weft - works to a pattern of her own contriving, with movements quick and deft'......Hope this is what you want...….

I was there 1958-61 when it closed down...… I think Miss Wenn was lovelly and very modern, you could talk to her about all your puberty problems......I think she hated boys because she was an unmarried mother as they were known as then...….

The film is on Talking Pictures (Virgin) quite often, I watched and recorded it along with a few other 60's oldies which I love - no need to buy it just look for it and record it......

The film is regularly on Talking Pictures on Virgin TV - saw it myself a few weeks ago...………...still a great film to watch.

I can remember him playing at a pub in Gedling on Friday nights in the 60's...….Think it was the Grey Goose.my friend was very infatuated with him back then, he played at a pub in Hucknall later on...…..Not heard of him for years wonder if he is still alive...…….

When we went to Bulgaria many years ago, we were only allowed 1 sheet of loo paper at a time by the stinker lady who sat outside the loo doors...…..Think I may start doing this again as I never seem to be able to get any loo rolls when I go out...….

Can remember going to Frank Smith's house, never saw any entry's though - we used to go up a hill to a field, cannot remember where as I was only 14/15..........Sandra Binch and Marian Frost lived around there as well........Wonder where they are all are now ?...

Round the back entry would have been better, but I forgot you didn't have entry's at Bestwood Estate, to posh.....

I was born in 1945 and can remember the old Hucknall High Street, starting with he Co op at the bottom of Station Road, next door was Allsebrooks newsagents run by Roy and his mother Mrs Cupit, next door was a dry cleaners which closed down and became Skeavington and Payne Electricals, then Sarah Bodill hairdressers, Butler's bread shop, a couple more shops, a Tobacconists, s Chip Shop, Flossie Brown's hairdresser's and a hardware shop, a twitchel, then an old furniture shop, Mettams Yard, Hartwell fruit/veg shop which eventually moved up the town, a sweet shop, later became a wool shop - The

I never forget anything......

I went to them all in the 60's early 70's - The 99 Club in West Bridgford was the best night club ever....................

Had some crackin meals at the Charde........Also some great nights at the dances in Tollerton Aerodrome, back in the late 60's - Wonder where all the fella's are now ? Aden, where are you ?

I used to work for Healey and Smith Solicitors in the late 60's and regularly attended court - the Guildhall brings back memories.....

Re: Lynn Rowlands.... You must have been there long before me as the older pupils all seemed to do better than we did, I cannot remember any of those pupils names.....I was there 1958-61, Lynn Housley from Hucknall......
