Christmas is a pagan festival which has been appropriated by the Christians. As I am neither it has little meaning for me. However as something to brighten up the miserable days of winter I'm quite happy to raise a glass or two to cheer myself up.

'No decorations until Christmas Eve' has been the rule here for years. Down on BoxingDay if I had my way.

I think Christmas will be a non event this year. I'm quite looking forward to avoiding all the festive nonsense. I've requested chop, chips and beans for Christmas dinner but my request has been refused. We have a table that can be extended to seat 10. We'll sit at opposite ends, socially distanced.
