Catfan , can't add to the above , but choose extra virgin olive oil cold pressed if you can find it. I only use olive oil for cooking and EVO for salad or dressing veg. Look for oil from Liguria and don't buy a mix of oil from different areas or countries. Also look for an oil that is dark green in colour and taste the difference. You won't go back to butter. My favourite is having a salad with lots of EVO and just a dash of balsamic vinegar, eating the salad and mopping up the dressing with fresh crispy bread. Try it . Tell Mrs C shes right. Not the result you were hoping for Dave but unfortunately you have to go along with treatment, you have no alterative. Really do hope that this time they work for you. Ok they are big and side effects arent nice but you can beat it by staying as positive as you are. Ive not heard of Enzalutamide but know many that take oral chemo and the main side effect seems to be fatigue. Have you had a PET scan? They usually show up more detail. Hope they dont make you wait too long. All the best and keep concentrated on your positiveness.

Could it be mice eating your beetroot. Years ago I bought some parsnips seeds from uk as we cant find them here. I sowed the seed and waited for the results. Not One came through . We thought it was mice . We've now got little room for veg ( space taken up by pool) but we planted 4 beef tomatoes and 2 chillies.

When I was at work in my teens my boss's mother who lived on the premises used to suffer from old age pains. On morning I heard her say that she 'd had a bad shoulder that had been bothering her all night. She massaged some cream in and said it smelled of mint, it was only a couple of minutes later that she realised it was toothpaste that she'd put on. Big change for me, engaged, married, birth of my daughter and emigrated to Italy. Different sort of life completely. Big family of inlaws whose main concern was to make me feel at home and love me. I came from a very small family so it was very different. New food, new language, different customs and ideas. I was lucky as many girls marrying into Italian families didnt find happiness.

When our grandchildren started school ( one born in Nottingham and the other 2 here) their parents were told not to speak to them in English as it would confuse them !!! Now they are learning English at school ( although they do speak it) and the pronouciation is atrocious. Some examples are Apple is "epple" black is " blek" ." TH" is pronounced " t" or " f". I correct the children and tell them to correct their teachers but the teachers dont like it. They dont even speak english well so how do they expect the children to speak it.
