  1. He's used the hidden status Cali, I used to do that on another forum.
  2. Yep, thats what mods can do, but ONLY when there has been a transgression of the site rules!
  3. Just checked my Admin functions on one of my sites, only Admin is allowed to lock a thread down, that means on the one I checked, myself and my wife. None of my Moderators were given that power.
  4. TROLL...Definition, a person who disrupts a chat forum.
  5. If it's like my sites, Mick can remove that section of his moderator status.
  6. Thats what just pissed me off Cali, time we ALL went on strike if Mick doesn't revoke it!!!!
  7. Oi Mick, why so many locked threads???????
  8. I reckons FC is about 45 years old, either self employed, unemployed or working in an office where he can use the companies computer. He's been a "troll" on forums before, he's good at winding people up, owns his own car, probably lives in a village outside Nottingham.....errr maybe! Thats what I reckons
  9. Well it would look odd in the Hebrides, wouldn't it
  10. He's not run me off Cali!! When I were a kid up St Annes in the 50's, we had an old feller up the terrace where I lived, bit like FC! Didn't scare us kids off though. When we got to know him better, he used to tell us of his time in trenches in WW1. Just think, IF, and I doubt it VERRRRRYYY much, FC is 69, which seems like a joke age?? LOL, 69 think on it!! He would be as old as my labourers, errr maintenance assistants were when I was working as an electrician underground. Most of those guys I had as my labourers would be in their 70's now.
  11. Grow up Robin and stop "shouting". If you'd ever worked in a factory, you'd get worse, if you'd been old enough to have gone underground, I can assure you, you'd have got worse Ask Mick what he went through as an apprentice! Testicles greased, tied up, fastened between two vices with his overall sleeves and left there. List goes on and on. Even as an adult tradesmen we had our moments A young bloke when I worked at J. Jones on Daleside Road was tied up, hoisted up on an electric hoist and left there!!
  12. I used to have some fun with those spam emails it weren't funny. Just got tired of playing Santa, the Easter Bunny etc. Funniest one was when I replied as Captain James T Kirk, and the idiot played along with me. !rotfl!
  13. Robin, when I say I live in the country, I mean COUNTRY, not in a town surrounded by a couple of little farms. My nearest two is Alton, ten miles to the west of me, pop around 700 peeps. Biggest city in the county where I live is Thayer, around 2200 peeps, some 35 miles south west of me. Population of the whole county, which is about the size of Nottinghamshire, is less than 8000 peeps! The nearest "big" city to me is West Plains, some 60 miles away, and it's still a fraction of the size of Nottingham. Traffic??? Whats that?? I can drive Hwy 160 and see nowt until I get to Alton, turn south
  14. After living in the country now for many years, you can keep your cities. I lived in Sacramento for a few years, noise, drove me crazy, pollution?? worse than living in a pub full of smokers. Naahhh peace and quiet, occasionally spoiled by the odd cow mewing, or a distant tractor mowing, there the noises I like these days!
  15. I've had more than one ID on other sites, mate of mine has seven on Friends Reunited at a cost of 75 quid a year!!! Of course he wouldn't admit to it, although, Mick would have to be privvy to it, because of IP numbers Thats how I keep track of members, unless they are AOL,MSN etc then they could share the same IP numbers...
  16. And waitress's work damned hard, especially if they have to deal with miserable sods all day long! I still don't think FC is as old as he claims... Just a first class windup merchant... I agree about waitresses, I lasted 2 weeks at that job! I have a lot of respect for them, there are so many complainers out there! Also, I agree about Flat Cap, I still believe he's another member just having a go at us! I know he's just trying to wind me up along with others, I just like correcting him, wind him up too! It's hard to windup a windup artist Cali..
  17. One site to be careful of is Friends Reunited Connections, the site security isn't the best! A few weeks back it was found that one could read the private mails of others. After a campagn of warning everyone, by myself and a couple of other members, plus making complaints to FRC, the "hole" was plugged. It appears, so I'm told by a member who still posts there, that it is still possible to access others PM's!!!

  19. I can find out for you Mick, one of my members had a cousin who acted in that series, I'll ask her for you.
  20. Anyhoosely, your all straying from the thread topic. I'd tell him about one of my sites, burra don't want him on it
  21. OR better still, if you know how to get the bonnet's unlocked, change the firing order of the plugs, should have them scratching their rear ends for an hour or two B)
  22. Forget the Stanley knife Ilko, just nick the valve stems, more fun!
  23. Could be your CPU on it's way out then Ilko, if you've done a reformat. I'd be inclined to do a "full reformat" first though, not a repair type (soft) of one. I once did three reformats as my computer was running slower than a dead rock! The first one didn't seem as though it had been done right, so I did two more and I had no more troubles for ages.
