From what I gather political discussion is not allowed after a vote by members. That was apparently some years ago and by people who for the most part no longer post. Like the Brexit leavers would have it one vote casts the decision in stone. The result can never be questioned, challenged or asked again - really? that's democracy is it? The problem is a rerun is likely to be close and even if the decision changes we will still have a divided forum/nation with one side saying "ya boo suck it up and live with it" and the losers crying foul we want another go..

I doubt anyone will have a problem if it really is a traditional fair 'ala Goose fair. I find it strange that among my friends the reasons for a leave vote seems to be changing. It was mostly immigration and EU Laws. Now it seems to be a vague mish mash of reasons and it's all going to be alright in the end innit. Immigration is still mentioned but with far less conviction.

Quite agree with you Letsav. Political comment on here usually runs until someone takes exception or becomes confrontational and them a moderator comes along and gives us all a full Bold font warning. As for a second run, like you I thought "they won, get over it" but as things unfold it looks as though the situation is not how anyone imagined it would be. To be honest I'm still on the fence about it. At my age the full effect of leaving will take so long I doubt I will be around to see it and say "I tode yer wot would appen", pity really
