About Me
my wife, daughter and I left Nottingham on a cold February morning in 1976 and a week later we were in Coolgardie WA in 44 degree heat. our son was born in Kalgoorlie in 1977.
For those of you who have never been to Coolgardie it was a one horse town and then the horse died .
Still it was the real Australia.
Since then I have been a Soldier, Diplomat ( don't laugh) and have spent the last 15 years as a Paramedic/ Emergency Rsponse Officer on a mine site.
Nottingham was always something to remember school days , my first job , family ,fish and chips , Yates wine lodge cold afternoons at City Ground and Meadow Lane The White Hart Lenton, and so on
