The drugs Im on for the arthritis luckily work on the lupus but it took a good few years before the right cocktail was found,Im on biological drugs by injection which I do once a fortnight and I had to go through the nice guidelines to qualify for them,Im very fortunate that at the moment they are working well. Chulla I had a good look at the boxes its ok you can swallow them.

Good god the size of em if they work keep swallowing em me old duck. So pleased about the good news Carni. I myself have Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis, they are diseases of the auto-immune system usually when you have one you are more likely to get another unfortunately because of the damage the arthritis caused I now have Bronchectasis which is a lung disease,my treatment is working and I am very well at the moment ,god bless the nhs.

When I lived in Kirkstead terrace under the back window of one of the houses was what we kids called a stage it was in fact a bricked up air raid shelter and when we moved high up the street to a three storey house the cellar had been re-enforced and was also used as a shelter it got me wondering how many shelters would there have been of this type and how many people would they have had in them.

This forum continues to entertain me Im very often looking back on whats gone before ,its a mine of info,if you google search anything bout Nottm you can guarantee the forum will pop up with the answer. Life and technology doesn't stand still we all get used to it in the end.

Afternoon all,this morning went to Hobbycraft with my daughter on the way there we passed buildings that looked like they were an old railway station for the life of me I can't remember a station there ,its now a gym and near counties football ground,any ideas.

Every supermarket has poppy sellers in them but theres none in the streets in Bulwell Travelling from Bulwell to QMC and back again today there was not one person apart from hubby and myself with a poppy on COME ON show some respect people,the trams had poppies on and so did the buses.

I forgot to add that the family now live in Chicago so its highly unlikely that they will ever be able to see it.

3 years ago hubby and I went on a mini cruise for his 70th we went on a shore trip to visit Ypes ,the Menim Gate and Tyne Cot cemetery and while in the cemetery we noticed the headstone of a young jewish man (it had the stones on top) He was just 21 when killed ,I took a photo and when we got home I started to trace him (on ancestry ) as there is quite a lot of info on the headstone so it wasn't too difficult,he and his family were tailors from London anyway to cut a long story short I have been in contact (through ancestry ) with his 3x great nephews wife they were moved to see the photo of h

Hubby and I have just been on a Skills coach trip to Emmerdale the village ,lovely clean comfy coach really friendly driver ,we had a smashing weekend .

How you feeling now Chulla better I hope and you too Carni ,will read back to see how you are. We went to emmerdale village its self not the studio,lot of walking but we enjoyed it,going to Bletchley park next saturday Im going to be crean crackered .

Mum used to put them in the oven when there was a casserole for tea ,so they slow cooked ,we used to have them at supper time, crispy skin with stork marg on,yummmmmmm

Tuesday night hubby and I went to see the Billy Fury show at the concert hall it was ok a little disappointed but this afternoon we went to the theatre royal to see Million Dollar Quartet ,Its about a jam session that Jerry Lee Lewis,Carl Perkins,Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley had at sun records It was amazing ,songs and music was live by 4 very talented young men,its 50s rock and roll at its best well very nearly.We were lucky we got the tickets from a friend who wasn't able to use them.If we could afford it we would go again.
