Me and Mrs.Beekay had this agreement many years ago. We stopped buying each other presents, as it seemed just a token gesture. If she wants something, anyday of the year, she can have it. No need to wait for Christmas. It works both ways, although I end up paying any road! We send ourselves a daft card, from us to us. PhilMayfield, I couldn't get any chops, so we're having a gammon joint instead. Any left will be with chips and egg.

I've got nowt against the French, after all they have Disneyland Paris. I love their "Le Thom cheese. They have a lovely little train in Chamonix, goes up a mountain to a glacier. But the best thing to come out of France.....is Le Tunnel.

Just been watching our local news. I really feel sorry for those poor sods, sat in their cabs on the M20 (4,000 approx,) they're stuck where they are with no hot food or drinks or basic toilet facilities. Some of them are foreign drivers trying to get home to their families. What sort of Christmas are they going to have? I might be still stuck in, but at least I've got a comfortable prison.

CT, I can see all on my 10" tablet albeit dark on dark, but on my 8" tablet there nothing above the search magnifying glass. It's as though the image is too large for the screen but cannot pinch it smaller. Does this make sense?

As I understand it, you have to be looking towards the horizon as soon after sunset. To my reckoning, you would have to be on the coast looking West to see any horizon. If I go outside and look that way then I'd just be looking at houses across the road. Any road, it's blowing a hooley and raining.

Fogrider, try using "Photoimage", thats the one I use. It works well for me.

Neither do I WW, I'm on me owd device. The Android 5.02 is working well but the news Android 9.0 has not got the the necessaries at the top of the screen.

Still rubbish image on this GalaxyTabA. It's as though the image is too large, like when you zoom in. But in this case I am unable to shrink the image to get it all in. Verdict....Not liked at all. And what good is black writing on a dark brown background?

When 'er indoors was pregnant with our first, back 66/67 I was the one with cravings and it was Colwick cheese ! Couldn't get enough of it.
