Both found today whilst searching.

If you dont want Google to show your house in street view, you can request it is blocked from view ...

Just like this woman did.

Or maybe not a problem if Googleman forgets to take the cover off the camera!

I hand't seen that blurring effect before. Someone doesn't want their house to be seen, so now they stand out a mile from everything else :)

I'd seen a different way where Google deal with people who don't want publicity; sometimes the Streetview camera jumps from one end of a street to the other end without showing all the properties in between.

Heres an example - drag the little man on to Repton Road and note how the blue line on the map isn't continuous in the northern half of the road.

LOL - THIS is about as close as you can get to our house - the entrance to our development!

They'd be committing criminal trespass if they tried to photograph my house.....It's about half a mile down a very private road with notices posted at the top.
