philmayfield 6,115
Well Duholme bridge spans the boundary between Notts and Lincolnshire and yet the bulk of Dunholme is on the Nottinghamshire side. Further investigation is required.
philmayfield 6,115
Got it now! Dunham (Bridge) is in Notts. Dunholme is in Lincs. Miles apart!
Brew 5,408
OK let me clear this up. The Lincolnshire carrot crunchers have not stolen a bit of Notts. Dunham is not to be confused with Dunholme!!
philmayfield 6,115
Well it was but I think Google Earth has now sorted the problem.

Brew 5,408
Seems Lizzie is correct, I apologise for doubting you and you may nick a chip from me anytime you like. As we can see in the link the photo is from the CEGB so presumably something to do with the power station. There must have been at least two farms of the same name. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mickleholme_Farm_April_1964.jpg
FLY2 10,108
Mmmm, seems I misread it. I thought that Brew and LizzieM had cracked it !

plantfit 7,580
You just got me thinking when you mentioned Mickleholm Lizzie, so dug a bit deeper, one of my first thoughts was for a motorway or power station looking at the type of earth moving equipment used, some seriously heavy stuff there Rog
