LizzieM 9,507
Never really thought I needed a bus but it could be useful driving around Nottingham ......... could use the bus lanes without the risk of getting a ticket

Cliff Ton 10,464
There's a thread on that subject here http://nottstalgia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10360&st=
denshaw 2,871
Old coaches can be used for many things, stock car racers used them as transport and carried the car inside via back door convertion. Think you can drive them on car licence if restricted on seat numbers and not for fare paying passengers.
Beefsteak 305
Anything up to 7.5 tonne in total weight. So most coaches are included in that , I used to deliver loads of them back to bus companies all over the UK on my normal driving licence, like you say Den , as long as there are no fare paying passengers.
