IMMSC we went in one along there for a Karaoke session once (When it first started) That would have been around 1990.

You weren't the only one.

I'm sure I wore a groove in the pavement going between there and the Sal, the Bell, and Yates's.

Although the mix of copious amounts of scrumpy, Pernod, Whitbread, whatever was on offer in the Bell, and Yates kangaroo juice did make you a bit queasy the next morning.

:)

Think I wore the same groove but usually included the Trip as well....

We called it Frodos , but some called it Worros. After a few pints of scrumpy we didnt really care lol

anyone remember a wine bar on marian way, somewhere between friar lane and st james st . reckon it appeared in the early 80s and disappeared not long after. feel sure we used to go in for last uns before catching 232 back to ilson.

For some reason the name Orchards is coming to me.

Met my future husband in Warrows/Frodos, had our engagement party there and Bob came to our wedding 1975, 43 years this year.  Thanks for bring back some great memories
