The youth of today use acronyms all the time in their text messaging, but when I was young there weren't so many around. S.W.A.L.K on the back of an envelope was Sealed with a loving kiss, and a very risque one [well I thought so!] was N.O.R.W.I.C.H, [K]nickers off ready when I come home. Any more from our youth?

It's funny how acronyms stick in your mind. I remember this one from my A Level Biology days :

After very carefully expressing joy in suitable language my Indo Japanese servant brewed my coffee.

It's how to remember the anterior venous system of the frog!

Anterior Vena Cava, External Jugular etc, etc. It's surprising how useful it's been throughout my life. :)
