Modern rail photos - but they will be Nottstalgic one day

Recommended Posts

Nothing lasts for ever, how I wish I'd photographed everyday things years ago that are now rare. Whenever I change my car I always take pictures of the new one, partly for insurance purposes but mainly because in years to come it'll be a thing of the past. What a thought, todays cars being vintage!!!!!!

If not-too-old railway photos are your thing, this will keep you quiet for a long time.

Thanks for the link Cliff Ton, my dad was a signal man, mainly on the Nottingham to Skegness line, I have sent him the link, so he can wile away the time, looking at some of his old haunts, despite being 91 he handles a computer a lot better than me.

I've got tomorrrow off so I shall make sure to visit the level crossings etc and put them into my personal memory bank. I still curse my old dad for not doing a tour of the Nottingham lines before the mass-closures of the 60s .
