Beefsteak 305
Just noticed that Notts got through to the final of the Yorkshire bank 40 (Former Natwest Trophy) last night after a great display against Somerset. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/23996034
Commo 1,292
Terrific performance by Notts, though helped by Somerset displaying some inept batting! Here's hoping they can perform as well at the final, but they have suffered from nerves in the past which has precluded them from taking that final step to victory. Last limited over trophy they won was the old John Player League title in 1999 ( I think!)
Commo 1,292
CORRECTION! Just checked on the John Player and it was in 1991 that Notts were champions. How time flies !!
