emmal30 0
I am a PhD student researching the history of education in Britain during the Second World War. My project will explore the role of the school and teachers in children’s wartime lives while also being interested in young people’s experiences during periods when schools were forced to close. I am keen to interview people who either attended or were evacuated from a school in Nottinghamshire between the years 1939 and 1945.
