jimmy87notts 22
My great uncle Ernest Peck died in Egypt in 1943. He was buried over there at the Heliopolis War Cemetery. What i want to know is, is there any way of having his name added to the church war memorials in Sneinton as hes not listed on either St Christophers or St Stephens. DAVIDW 1,674
Apart from emailing the vicar I am not sure what could be done . That name Peck has kept cropping up in the last few days . There was a story on facebook about a widowed mother in Arnold who lost 4 sons in WW1 . The original post where I gave some details seems to have dissappeared but it is also here and I do remember the Mothers maiden name was Peck . https://www.facebook.com/nostalgiaeastmidlands?ref=ts&fref=ts

Bubblewrap 3,815
There are some Pecks on my Mothers side of the family(once or twice removed) I'll have to ask her the next time I see her,she is ill at the moment & I don't want to trouble her.
