Bilboro-lad 294
This is nothing new. When I was kid we always got to hear the shipping forecast about 'dogger bank'. Dunno where is was but I bet them pesky gays ran all over it.
Merthyr Imp 729
I'm afraid he's mistaken - my grandmother always used to say any extreme weather was because of 'them men they keep shooting up into space. It's not right'.

poohbear 1,360
Silly Prat...We don't need Goddites in positions of power...It was bad enough when Blair went all religious and thought he was guided by his deity.

littlebro 234
A UK Independence Party councillor who blamed recent flooding on the legalisation of gay marriage has been suspended. A spokesman confirmed that David Silvester, who sits on the council in Henley-on-Thames, has had his membership suspended.

mudgie49 401
I was taught as a kid, that respect had to be earned,it didn't come with a position, or job placement. Everyone has a right to their opinion, whatever it may be.

Bilbraborn 1,594
Love the shipping forecast.
StephenFord 866
I'm a fan of the shipping forecast too. Not too keen on changing Finisterre to Fitzroy however. Often check the Shipping Forecast website, and if UK is surrounded by red (gale warnings) I usually go on to the Caledonian-MacBrayne site to see what Hebridean routes they have had to suspend. LizzieM 9,507
I always relate the Shipping Forecast to Listen With Mother ! I think it was on the wireless just before or just after my favourite radio programme in the early fifties.
