A Netherfirld Cinema was discussed on here a while back. There was a small one round the back of Wright Street near the station.

You will find various mentions of the Wright Street Cinema, originally named Alexandra but then renamed the Cosy Cinema in 1930; as well as photographs of what was left some years later.

The information was already on that old Nottstagia thread. I just copied it.
It was the Nottstalgia members Loppylugs, Beefsteak and Bamber who, back in 2008, did all the work! bowdown
