Gentlemen, and possibly ladies, do you sport a moustache or beard? If so why? Ladies, and possibly gentlemen, do you find them attractive? If so why?

Beards on young lads seem to be all the rage at the moment! I suppose it depends who's sporting it. Father has a tash and I dislike it tbh but can't imagine him without it now!

Reminds me about why all Greek men have moustaches in Australia............so they can look like their mums.

In the 70's I had a full beard, 80's through to the 90's a tash and now I sport a goatee. In all that time I have never had any "aggro" from the ladies in my life

I have had a "full set" for the last twelve years & the only bit I shave is a little round my neck.

Would I shave the beard off? NO!

I tried to grow a tash in the 80's, it turned out blond & un-noticable on my light coloured skin, plus the itching drove me mad, soon shaved it off..

I shaved off my beard when it got all greasy working on the railway. I still have my moustache though. As I work in catering, some places insist I wear a snood over it.

I think that a moustache and beard looks better on a dark haired person. The exception to this would be benjamin1945, of course. I was once told why the ladies like men with a moustache but I was far too young to understand. slywink

If I shaved off my moustache today, there would be an extremely white patch of skin under my nose.

I also think that men who are unfortunate enough to be born with a cleft lip (hare lip), find a moustache very helpful in a cosmetic way.
