I've had no emails since Friday, just says No Server Connection. I've had to log on to a different mail system.

Bl00dy irritating cos I don't know what I doing.

It's getting to be a common problem, from what I gather, two reasons, main one is the structure of the internet is getting old and over worked, nobody seems to want to spend money on the infrastructure, and two, profits, which takes you back to nobody wants to spend money replacing old outdated equipment.

Reading posts elsewhere, even T2 upwards connections are now slowing down, so being at the bottom of the dogpile, we DSL broadband users are suffering more.

It's doubtful it's your ISP, hubs and mainfarmes are causing slowdowns..I'm pretty sure when I was on DDL 55Kbs was faster than my 1.5Mb connection I have at the moment.

Cliff, it's not your connection speed, it's speed "within the internet", hubs are running slower and slower each year. Your ISP can be 2million Gbs, but if the hubs are only 55kbs...

You can only go as fast as the hubs and mainframes work, bit like a car with a 1000hp engine out on a parking lot motorway. You're only going to go as fast as the road and other traffic allows...

The internet is congested.
