Notice the desk lamp on the left side, it wouldn't look amiss today, and inside the radiogram was the Beatle Sgt Peppers LP, the coffee table in the foreground was chrome frame with ceramic tiles on top, inside the sideboard was a few Radio times and knitting patterns

A proper black phone!

A friend is buying me one for my 60th birthday next week. It's a GPO Carrington 200 model, reproduction with a proper dial. None of your push button nonsense! Can't wait! ;)

Ignoring the modern additions of the surveillance camera and the smoke alarm, the polystyrene "acoustic" tiles and the circular flouro' tube light and its harsh white light.

Is that a Sparklets soda syphon on the end of sideboard?

It certainly looks like it Oz. God, it looks  horrendous. At least we've progressed somewhat in the interior design business.

Sorry Oz, it'll be vintage soon, and increase in value.

Venetian blinds and table and chairs for two in the living room and the kichen, and the obligatory rug in front of the fire, when did we stop putting rugs in front of the fire? and where's the telly
